Transfer of Apprenticeship Training Funding to other schools
The County Council is now able to transfer unused funding from its digital account (which pays for apprenticeship training) to other employers. This means the council is able to fund apprenticeship standard training for all schools in the county. This includes voluntary aided schools, academy trusts and independent schools. This will save the school the 5% apprenticeship fee, of up to £1,350 and will also broaden the number of training providers you can use including our local universities. Please note the funding transfers through the digital apprenticeship account and goes straight to the training provider so it does not come directly into the school. Full information is available from Elizabeth Flegg via email@example.com. Please note only apprenticeship standards can be funded.
